IC v7 - Broadcast Messaging

I'm trying to get Broadcast Messaging to work in IC v7. The supervisor client opens well and I can send a message to a specified DL, however the message dont seem to appear for the IC Agent. I have debugged the broadcast_bar.htm page and the xml messages seem to be there, but just not being displayed. The broadcast bar just shows the date and time ticker and on mouse over shows 'Entering Broadcasting Area'. I'm on IE 9 and the JRE version is 1.5.10. Any clues?

Check the Org data for which you maintained the DL should be same for the business role IC_AGENT or for the corresponding position.
