How Can I Use SAP Identity Management as SSO Provider for SAP Commerce (a.k.a Hybris) ?

I want to integrate Hybris ( SAP Commerce 1905) with SAP Identity Management(i.e https://help.sap.com/viewer/product/SAP_IDENTITY_MANAGEMENT/8.0/en-US ).

The integration will allow the employees that are accessing backoffice to login using SAP ID Service.

How Can this be achieved ? Are there any Hybris Extensions that I can use ?

Hi Andrei,

I guess SAML SSO is the only way to setup SSO between SAP Identity provider and Hybris. You can follow the document to set it up and it should not be too hard.

The concern I have is that Hybris is a cloud application that you can access from internet. SAP Identity Provider is usually used in Intranet. You probaby need to expose Identity Provider to the internet and add MFA (multi factor authentication) to provide extra protection.
