Does E-mail Inbox has performance issue?

Hello Experts,

I have configured E-mail Inbox in CRM Web UI. After clicking on the E-mail Inbox link, Its taking a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes, some times its taking more than that, in the meanwhile webui session goes timed out, .

Can we increase the performance to import emails quickly or will it depend on number of emails in the Lotus Notes? If in case it depends on the number of emails in the Lotus Notes, for importing 500 mails, approximately how much time should it take?

Hi Varsha,

SAP Note you sent 1283818, Symptom is "When Navigating away from Email Create Screen, the application takes long time to return back to the calling application" , But my issue is E-mail Inbox

takes lot of time to import emails into CRM. Do you think that this note would serve my purpose?

Hi Robert,

SAP Note you sent 1270557 is for SAP BASIS component , can it make a difference in SAP CRM system?

Guys correct me, If I am wrong.

We had similar issues at the begining of our CRM implementation, but I'm not sure which notes solved the problem. If you are using service pack 1 or 2 I suggest implementing additional service packs. SP5 is already available.

Hi Robert,

We are using SP03, I have searched for related SAP Note in Service market place - Application area CRM-BF-ML, but could not find any. Are you sure that there is a note related to the E-mail performance?

Or do i need to do any configuration to improve the performance?

And also this one could be interesting: 1270557. we had to implement this because some e-mails could not be imported in CRM. The problem is related to ascii coding.
