Changing Business Partners at header level

I have the following issue:

In the partner procedure several partners functions have been set to be able to change them in the partner tab in the transaction.

When going into the transaction the following happens:

Scenario A

1) Open the tranaction

2) Go to the partner tab at header

3) Click the change button

Result: You are NOT bale to change the patners

Scenarion B

1) Open the tranaction

2) Click the change button

3) Go to the partner tab at header

Result: You are able to change the partners

Switching between screen doesn't make any difference. The system keeps behaving the way you first netered the transaction.

I would expect the same screen behaviour (as in scenbarion B) in both scenarios.

Does anyone experience the same behaviour? We are in CRM 5.0.

Hi,

As per my understanding your looking to change the partner data in change mode.

If that so...

Please go to partner determination procdure path

CRM ->BAsic functions -> Partner determination procudure.

select partner function and check the checkbox Change option.It enables you to change the partner function.

I'm am able to change the partners but it depends on the screen sequence and the actions you do (scenario A or B) if you are able to change them yes or no.

Hi Pascal,

I do not know if it might help. Anyway I would set the parameter for opening transaction in CHANGE mode, in order to check if you are able to change partner according your scenario.

Just click on the icon at the top right of your toolbar.

That helps indeed but still I think it is inconsistent system behaviour.
