Dear Experts,
is it possible to create a Sales Campaign in C4C without any actions / target group?
My scenario is, that I want to use campaigns for our Lead Creation Process (I want to assign Leads to a campaign). But I don't need any actions or target groups in this campaign. For now, I have to use a dummy target group und do an action in order to set the campaign as active and use it in Lead Creation.
Do you have any suggestions how I can solve that?

Hi Paul.
You can create a dinamic target grupo with impossible conditions, so your target group will be empty. You activate it and assign to your /campaign/event. Now you can activate this campaign and create leads assigned to this campaign.

Hello Joel,
You can create a new lead and assign it to your Sales Campaign or Add new lead directly to your Active Sales Campaign.
Creation of Leads as an action from Sales Campaign is not there yet.

Correct me if I am wrong regarding my understanding of the functionality you describe in your answer.
- It is not possible to create leads as an action in the sales campaign but only as an action to a email response from the members of the target group?
We want to create leads as actions to the email execution, similar to send emails or create tasks. Is creation of leads not possible as first action?

Hi Paul,
To start a campaign you need to create first of all a target group, where you add members such as contacts, individual customers, existing target groups or accounts. And whatever channels used in campaign are for reaching your target group.
After you have activated a campaign, you can capture responses from the target group members and based on response further action will be taken to create document such as New Lead, Opportunity, Sales Quote etc.
So as per my understanding without target group you cannot activate campaign. System will throw error message "Please enter a target group." Save Failed.
