Hi Gurus
WHAT IS BATCH SEQUENCE AND DIALOGUE SEQUENCE WHICH IS USED IN PARTNER DETERMINATION PROCEDURE? WHY THESE SEQUENCES ARE USED AND WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THIS SEQUENCE IN PARTNER DETERMINATION PROCEDURE IF POSSBILE PLEASE EXPLAIN WITH EXAMPLE?

Gaurav
Hi Gaurav,
Batch sequence is just a serial number. This cannot be changed once saved.
Dialog sequence is the sequence in which the partner determination happens.
For eg: Suppose the dialog sequence is 10, 30, 20 then after the first row is considered for partner determination, if no partner is found then it wont go to the next row but will go to the last row with dialog sequence 20 and then to the second row with dialog sequence 30 for partner determination.
The advantage being that, once you have an access sequence u need not delete the rows to change the sequence u can just change the dialog sequence as per your requirement.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
MG
