Hello Experts,
My client has multiple registration pages on his website for different brands. We need to configure a trigger based campaign for all these registration pages with welcome mail and some content specific to the page he is registering to. Can we create one email template and in that the content can be changed as per the page/brand he is registrered to?
How can we handle this.
I know there is one interaction type WEBSITE_REGISTRATION is available but how can the content be changed?
Is it possible?
thanks,
Mayank

Hello Mayank,
After lots of discussion along with experts, below should be your approach to achieve the scenario:

Hi Mayank,
You can try to use the "Condition Assignment" in the content studio it will allow you to create conditional blocks in the template and they would be picked up at run time iff the conditions are met. You can refer the below link on how to create conditional blocks in an email.

Hello Vineet,
I couldn't find the way you are suggesting.
Also please see the below attachment, How the campaign will know which website registration we are looking for? In my case we have several websites pages which can be used for registering different brands. I cannot filter on website page/brand registering for? Only TG is the option showing.trigger-based-campaign.png
Hello Mayank,
Email Template in the content studio is a static content and you need to create unique email-templates for each brand type to reuse.
Please let me know if your question was something else?

Hi Kunal,
Thanks for the reply.. So if I understood correctly. suppose I have 10 landing pages for specific brands then we have to capture all these 10 pages separately in 10 email templates ? The trigger of these email templates will be handled by one trigger based campaign or multiple trigger based campaign?
Also if suppose there is one trigger based campaign then how we have to put filter on which landing page which mail should trigger from campaign?
I have checked the above approach and found that there is no option for condition to be provided on send email action.
Please find the below screenshot. is there any authorization missing. I really doubt bcoz I have all the access related to campaign management.trigger-based-campaign.png filter-condition.png
Can you please check and assist. YMKT 1805 cloud
Hi Kunal,
Thanks. I will provide you shortly. However if you can confirm my proposal , it will be fine. I have decided something like this to do:
1. Create live TG with consumers+ interaction type( which will be website registration) + item interest( which will come from Interaction type.
2. Create a trigger based campaign and assign the filter condition with the above TG.
3. Email template will be general one( include some basic stuff- for e.g).
4. Execute the campaign.
Will it work??
Secondly if I have another page with different item of interest then the above trigger based campaign will execute or not? This is my worry here?
If it will not trigger then the new trigger based campaign needs to be created with the new TG which has the other Item of Interest?
Please suggest?
Thanks
Mayank
Hi Kunal,
PFA. Please let me know if it helps or you need some more info on this. I can provide the scenarios..trigger-flow-1.pngtrigger-flow-2.png
Hi,
Live Target Groups as filters are indeed the way to go here.
You can put a Live Target Group either on your Trigger, or on your Action (send email).
So depending on your scenario:
- if you assign a Live Target Group with only "item of interest A" assigned to your trigger; then this trigger will only go off when you have item of interest A (and not for B)
- if you split after your trigger into TWO "send email" and you put a live TG on your actions; e.g. "item of interest A" on email 1 and "item of interest B" on email 2 then you can send a different mail in case if interest A or interest B
! take care to include a timeframe on your live TG; or to use a segmentation profile based on Interaction key; otherwise you would segment all contacts who have EVER had something related to interest A (and not only in the triggering interaction).
