yMKT 1709SP01-Remove selected tiles for particular users in the UI personalization

Dear Expert,

We are in yMKT 1709 SP01.

We have created role ZSAP_MARKETING_CAMPAIGNS from copying standard role SAP_MARKETING_CAMPAIGNS and assigned to particular user.

In UI personalization we can see all Apps but we want to show only some tile to user and some of them want to hide or remove for this user.

How do we do this in role or authorization?

Is there any other option to handle these kind of requirements.

Hi Arvinth,

If the user has standard "Marketing Expert" role assigned, then he will have access to these Apps.

I am not really sure about what exactly you are looking here for, refer to https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('F1880')/S14

So from my perspective, you should use the Fiori Launchpad Designer to create your own catalogue/ tile group.

Thanks for the reply.

I am not assigned Marketing Expert role and assigned only one business role SAP_MARKETING_CAMPAIGNS. When I assign this role to user, he can able to select Apps like : Customer Joury Insight, customer Joury event and Senttiment engagement in the UI personalization but I don't want to allow him to select these apps.

How can i remove or hide these Apps from UI personalization for him?

SAP_MARKETING_CAMPAIGNS is a composite role, which gives access to a set of other roles. On of these roles within has an access to these two apps. Obviously you need to check all these roles and find, which one is giving you access to these apps or app group, make a copy and edit it. You will need to copy SAP_MARKETING_CAMPAIGNS as well.
