xss filter not picking up any new property added

Hybris gives its default rules for xss filter. However, if i am trying to add a property like this :

yacceleratorstorefront.xss.filter.rule.jquery1=(?i)^jqr4s

it is not getting picked up as a pattern by filter. Rest all properties are getting picked so configurations are in place. Can anybody suggest a solution for this Thanks

Can you add the following in local.properties and try again?

 xss.filter.enabled=true

Thanks Arvind for the response Yes this property is set and other were patterns were picking. It worked later as there was minor extension naming convention issue.
