Hi Experts,
I am working on a CRM 2007 TPM Implementation.
The issue is that the Assignment Block Parties Involved on Trade Promotion Overview page(Component TPMOE) shows the wrong Employee Responsible.
For example: If User A created a promotion, he/she will be the employee responsible for the trade promotion. This is because in the Partner Determination Procedure we are using the access Sequence "User".
The issue is when a User B tries to copy the Promotion created by User A.
The Employee Responsible at the Header Level is User B.
But in the assignment block "Parties Involved", The Employee Responsible is still User A.
Now in the Copied Promotion, at the header level of the Trade Promotion we can use the BAdI CRM_MKTPL_OL_OBJ to control the Employee Responsible. But How do i make sure that the Employee Responsible in the assignment block is also set to the current user editing the promotion and not the old old user.
The View Partner of BTPARTNER component is used as a Component Usage in the Component TPMOE.
Please help me in solving this issue.
Thanks and Regards

Gaurav,
Did you check out the marketplace? Did you try Note 1492686 - Unable to assign new employees to existing Trade Promotions?

Hi Amar,
I guess you mis-understood my issue.
The issue here is that on COPY of the Trade Promotion, the Parties Involved assignment block still has the old employee responsible and not the current user editing the promotion as employee responsible.
On the Header Details level, we have solved this issue.
But for this assignment block, i am stuck.
I am trying to check of the standard behaves the same way.
In that case, i will raise an OSS Message.
Thanks and Regards

Gaurav,
I see that the Note says "System checks for the employee responsible to be within planning dates, and not for the employee responsible validity as of today's date." and that assigning new employee responsible is hence not possible. I thought the scenario is the same as in copying TP. However, I am not an expert with this. But I have a feeling this is standard behaviour and maybe an option of OSS (if this or any other Notes does not address this issue) is better than a custom fix.
