Workflow rule based on Sales Quote Item field

Hello All,

Is it possible to use Sales Quote line item field value not available in existing file drop down list to define condition to trigger the workflow?

Please suggest any possible solution to handle this requirement where I have to configure workflow rules to trigger based on Quote line item field.

Hello Manish,

The workflow rules are a key feature in keeping things running inside C4C - it is a matter of constant improvement. All requirements are handled should be handled via the Customer Influence Site. There our Product Managers can give you feedback about your request, telling you if it is feasible for a next release, for example.

Other possibility is to create an extension field for your Sales Quotes that mimics this line item information; any extension field created will be possible to handle with workflow rules, so you should investigate this. Other than that, any custom implementation partner can evaluate your business need and evaluate if custom code can make you achieve this need - such as the Cloud Service Center.
