In the template yacceleratorstorefront there are already installed addons.
I wonder why this template is not keeped clean of any customization.
AFAIK addons are used to extends the functionnality of hybris accelerators, if it's already in it, it's not really an extension (unless it can be easily uninstalled, that's my question below).
When I generate a storefront using accelerator template I end with a lot of addon code I don't necessarily need.
Is it possible and safe to uninstall pre-installed addons?

If you start with a completely clean hybris installation (freshly unzipped) there shouldn't be any addons installed.
But, as soon as you run any the installer recipes, then the template is modified (IMHO, the installer is strictly for demo purposes, never use it for anything else.)
So it's best to unpack the zip into a new directory and start from there.
