Our project is based on BackOffice and sometimes I find duplicate ID/product due to which our Sync job does not consider this product as part of sync. so I just want to know the reason why Hybris creates duplicate ID/Products. Any root_cause/clue here ?

I have also noticed this problem in my project. My observations as below.
Someone creating items directly in online and staged separate .
Someone deleting item in staged. but not in online.
Someone directly modifying the online item
Due to hot folder implementation -
