Which functionality is the best to use for registering Hobbies or Interests?

Hello,

I am new to C4C and I am wondering what is the best out-of-the-box functionality to use to register Hobbies or Interests in C4C Sales Cloud? I am thinking about Marketing attributes but not sure if this is the way to go.

Hi Miha,

Indeed marketing attributes are a good functionality to register this kind of information.

Your decision and set up depends a little on the use - who is maintaining the data - who needs what kind of information at which moment in which process etc.

Sometimes in my projects I choose for an other approach. I added extension fields which certain value tables on e.g. customer or contact details. The extension field I defined in a way that the value maintained on master data level, was also shown in other scenarios e.g. a specific transaction, when a transaction was created for this particular customer or contact. And of course I made sure that the extension field was added to certain data sources for reporting purposes.
