Where to add fields in sales quotes in C4C?

Hi experts,

My client wants to add VAT, sign-off place and some other items in the sales quotes. I am not sure if it is possible and where to configure it in standard implementation.

Hello,

VAT is not supported if you user internal pricing. Here prices only refer to net values. If you use External Pricing the total tax amount is part of the standard field selection.

Fields that are not available in the standard delivery of C4C need to be added via key user tool or through an implementation done in SAP Cloud Applications Studio. E.g. field Sign-off place is not part of the standard delivery.

Appreciate for your help. Correct me if I am wrong. Do you mean if I use External Pricing in the quote, the tax amount will be generated automatically? If the users are located in different countries or states, will the tax amount be generated accordingly?

External pricing will use complete pricing procedure used in SAP ERP, which includes tax determinations depending on countries. To get some insights how internal and external pricing works in C4C, check out this blog:
