What's up with the Hybris downloads page?

The downloads page at https://wiki.hybris.com/display/downloads is sending me to https://help.hybris.com/1808/hcd/9f99b61bd8f14414a60340ee5d77a51f.html What is version 1808? Is it 6.8.0 ? Are SAP emulating Microsoft with their 3.1,95,ME,2000,XP,7 style numbering?

The wiki page was useful to see what the latest patch release for a particular version is and link directly into the (invariably frustrating) launchpad download area.

How can we get notified of new patch releases if we can't watch the wiki page?

Please note Wiki downloads are no longer possible as the whole process changed a while ago.

The SAP Software Download Center ( http://support.sap.com/swdc ) is now the central location to download your company’s SAP software. Launchpad ( https://launchpad.support.sap.com ) is a tool to which you are redirected after hitting access software. You can download hybris eCommerce from there.

Version 1808 refers to a new version of eCommerce planned to be released soon (18 refers to year 2018, 08 refers to the month of August).

As for notifications from SAP hybris ECP Maintenance, you will probably have to be added to a respective distribution list in order to be able to receive patch updates notifications.
