What's the path information for changing parameters in advanced.properties?

We are planning to upgrade our application and based in SAP documentation Password changes and Password Handling Security Improvements mentioned the advanced.properties.
We would like to know the path.

Hello customer,

The advanced.properties file you can find it at hybris/bin/platform/resources/advanced.properties path. I've also created a SAP KBA regarding to your query:

This seems an odd KBA. I would have thought that the article should specify that you shouldn't be editing advanced.properties as it isn't going to persist into Commerce Cloud. Instead you should be using one of the many mechanisms for overriding system properties, e.g. custom extension project.properties, properties in the manifest.json, properties via the Commerce Cloud portal service pages.
