What is the reason behind the logic of the OOTB DefaultGuestCheckoutCartCleanStrategy.cleanGuestCart(). Why is that needed to delete all the cart data after the guest user leaves the checkout for eg. to visit the choosen product again?
Request clarification before answering.
Security reasons i believe. For example if a guest is in a public place about to checkout, then goes back to the homepage their potentially personal data will be wiped.
However, i think this creates more problems than it hopes to solve. We have disabled this in our 6.7 setup.
