What is the difference Between Email and Email Lite?

What is the difference between Email or Email Lite? Why would the Designer select one over the other?

Hi Sharon,

Email lite is new designer where drag & drop functions can be used, but you cannot edit the source code directly here.

On the other hand, you should be able to select the type when creating the content.

Thank you for your response. I found your comment about not being able to edit the source code directly very helpful.

Since we are new to the Design Studio and trying to get our Designers up-to-speed as quickly as possible, I'd like to give them as much information as possible so they can select the right SAP designer. I am looking for a side-by-side comparison or list of differences.

In the meantime, if you know of any specific differences that they should know about, please respond.
