Can you please help me in understanding difference between SAP CPQ integration with SAP Commerce Cloud AND SAP Product Configuration on SAP Commerce Cloud.
My understanding is SAP Product Configuration on Commerce cloud will be enabled by downloading required patch from SAP SWDC and then deploying directly on SAP commerce Platform. This enables Product Configuration functionality directly on SAP Commerce storefront by leveraging back-end SAP ECC Variant Configuration. We have SAP Product Configuration extensions for B2B accelerator also which offers Quote functionality.
In this case what is the use of SAP CPQ integration with SAP Commerce, is it only for Quote / Proposal Creation? To my understanding SAP CPQ also need to be deployed on SAP Commerce Platform
I am confused to understand the difference between scenarios when to use SAP Commerce Product Configuration and when to use SAP CPQ integration with SAP Commerce
