Hello.
We want to log-on CCO with the secret barcode set on users in CCOMANAGER.
We wanted to log with a pre-encoded RFID card (contactless).
But a prerequisite of SAP CCO is to encode a % as prefix of the barcode and ? as suffixe of the barcode ...
(exemple : %12345?)
So we think the only solution is that we have to encoded ourselves blanck badges.
Another solution would be to print barcodes on different pieces of paper and to give them to each employees. They will have to scan it to log on CCO. (with a scanning device)...
Can you tell us what log system you set for users in you POS ? (excepted manual password)
We would like to know what is the easyest solution and what prices are behind devices. (what badge encoding device, which blanck badges, what badge printer device ...)
Thank you in advance
Regards
Guillaume

Hi guillaume-cerealog,
we used magnet cards in several projects. The behave like a normal "keyboard" (just like the barcode scan devices).
But you can basically use any device you can think of.
There is an example in the workshop plugins https://partneredge.sap.com/en/library/assets/products/cust_mng/dgl/76/28/SAP747628.html
how to trigger the login with a plugin. So let's say you have a RFID Reader which offers a serial connection, usb connection, api (whatever) you'll be able to use this for your cashier login.
