What are types of SAP User License

Dear Experts,

As per different situations, I have few queries as below,

1. If I have a Z report in SAP, which fetches the data from tables and generates the text file onto FTP. Later the 3rd party applications imports this file, user can modify the data, once the changes are done, change file is generated on FTP, which is imported in SAP.

Data could be synced only on a scheduled basis(Once a day).

In this case what type of license is required as we are using FTP as a middle ware to exchange the data?

2. If I use only RFC enabled FM/BAPI's which is integrated with 3rd party application using SAP Dot.Net connector, to fetch and update the data into SAP. No Z objects are created into SAP.

Data could be synced in real time or on a scheduled basis(Once a day).

In this case what type of license is required as we are using SAP Dot.Net connector as a middle ware to exchange the data?

Hi Ashish

To my understanding based on the contract agreement with SAP as a customer. you may need to contact your local SAP Account manager further details and assistance. Normally for SAP RFC or any external communication user ids, type will be service user, due to multiple times same RFC accessed.
