What are the implications of using the deprecated Iflow?

Hi experts

I have implemented communication agreements 0017, to integrate MKT with C4C.

But, there is an Iflow (Deprecated) - Replicate Business Partner to SAP Marketing) The URL that has the agreement 0017 with this aflow allows me to replicate Bps.

But this Iflow is obsolete. With the URL: https://myXXXX-api.s4hana.ondemand.com/sap/opu/odata/sap/CUAN_BUSINESS_PARTNER_IMP_SRV

Which Iflow can we use to replace Deprecated - Replicate Business Partner to SAP Marketing, as it is obsolete?

What are the implications of using the deprecated Iflow?

Hi Elio,

in the same integration package you can see an iFlow named "Replicate Business Partner to SAP Marketing via Business Partner Web Services". This one is the "new" one using SOA-based integration instead of the OData Service mentioned by you (CUAN_BUSINESS_PARTNER_IMP_SRV).

As far as I know this should be used especially if you want to use Contact-To-Account-Relationship functionality in SAP Marketing Cloud.

But the "old" one should still work as expected. But I'm also interested in what "Deprecated" really means and how long this integration will still be supported or when we are forced to switch to the new integration using SOAP.

Be aware that if you would like to use the SOA-based integration, you have to create to other Communication Arrangements in SAP Marketing Cloud (SAP_COM_0475 and SAP_COM_0539).

Hi schneidert

We already apply the Iflow of the new commercial agreement.

But, I am getting this error in MKT. I get two IDs from the client and the correct ID appears with an anonymous name and the second ID with the name that corresponds to the client.

is it the same question that you asked yesterday (https://answers.sap.com/questions/13348607/error-en-replica-de-bps-c4c-a-mkt.html)?

If so, I would check the same thing that Kamesh mentioned in the other question.

Go to your "Manage Your Solution" app and for Contacts and Profiles check if the System IDs are maintained for SAP_C4C_BUPA Origin.
