Visit type on visits taken from template visit type

Hi community, I hope you are all safe and well.

I have define a Visit Type in a Visit Template, the visit type is then inherited to the route, but when the visits are created from the route the Visit Type is blank, in other words is not inherit from the route.

Is there a way to have the Visit Type automatically inherited from the Route and thus from the template?

Best regards

Gustavo Arias

Hi garias,

In the routes, did you specify a predefined visit type and sales area combination under the "More Details" tab?

Just double checking...

Cheers,

Hi garias,

Have you tried following these steps?

  1. Go to Routes work center.
  2. Click on New Route.
  3. Create and open the new Route.
  4. Go to overview tab.
  5. Select add on proposed visits.
  6. Select the accounts that you want to create a route.
  7. Select actions and activate the route.
  8. Select actions button and generate visits.

Kindly advise if you had followed these. This is in reference to SAP Note 2543909

Cheers,

Luis

Hi luedazfr1, I already generated visits but my problem is that I set a Visit Type on a Route but the visits created don´t reflect that Visit Type.

I need to separate visits using Visits Types.
