Use SAP standard views in custom calculation view with BAS

Hello community,

i am trying to model a custom view for SAP Marketing Cloud that contains SAP standard views.

Since a few month i have to use the new BAS to create custom views.

After the setup of the BAS i imported the data that i exported from the marketing cloud system before.

Then i have deployed the HDBTABLES folder, that contains the table definitions from the marketing system.

Finally i want to deploy the calculation views. In the SAP WEB IDE i had to build the "sap" folder to get this done. Unfortunately, the BAS does not contain a "build selected files" function. I could only deploy the data, but this does not run and i always get errors. Also, if i try to deploy one single standard view i get errors.

What do i have to do to deploy/ build the standard views to use them in my custom views?

Kind regards

Robert

Hi robertpiet ,

I will try to see, If I can solve your issues. Can you share the errors here. First Login using this icon. If you have setup your hdi shared tenant properly, you will be able to enter your credentials and login.

Next, deploy the sap folder. Let me know what errors you get.

Thanks

Hello abdullah.amerk ,

thank you for your fast answer.

I have already set all connections and did any login.

I allways get errors like this:

It seems logical to me, because the standard table are within the hdbtables folder, but while the usage of the WEB IDE it was allways possible to use the build function, to bring the views to the hana database and use them in the own custom views. (Blog entry for the usage of WEB IDE)

Do you know how to solve this problem?

Is there anything like the old "build" function?

What do i have to do to consume SAP standard views in my own custom views?

Kind regards

Robert
