Use ORDERS05 to send sales order data from hybris to S4

Hi Experts,

How can we use ORDERS05 to send sales order information from hybris to S4. I know that we use SALESORDER_CREATEDATFORMAT204 as standard idoc type for replicating orders in S4 and ORDERS05 is only used for cancelled order replication.

How do we approach if we want to use ORDERS05 for sending order information to S4 with many new segments to be added which are not available out of box currently in datahub ? Do we need to define new XSD file? If so, where do we do it? How do we generate other related classed for new segments? What is the complexity involved here?

Can someone please suggest?

Hello Rahul

I really discourage you using ORDERS05 for replicating sales orders from platform to S4. The following reasons should be enough to convince you not using it:

• You will not be able to support the terial Texts. Because this is only available in SALESORDER_CREATEDATFORMAT204.

• You will lose future functionality upgrades. If we enhance the functionality in the future, you won't benefit from it out of the BOX.

I encourage you to make sure that your S4 version has all required packages installed for sap integration. Then, all you need to do is configure your ALE property.
