Upload email opens/clicks in Emarsys

Hi Experts,

is it somehow possible to "simulate" an email open/click for a contact in SAP Emarsys (via file upload or API)?

Background of my question is: According to the blog about the new Summer Release it is now possible to sync that email interaction data (clicks, opens, bounces, complaints) to SAP Customer Data Platform.

But unfortunately as a partner we do not have the possibility to send out emails in our Emarsys TDD tenant... so it is impossible for me to test that feature and create a closed loop process using that data in CDP...

There is no way we can simulate Email Open / Click via File Upload or API or other means.

Hi schneidert! That is a great question, and I'm afraid it is not possible to simulate the email responses in such a way that it would show up in CDP. I would suggest that you use this new feature to open a discussion with your partner manager to enable sending (to your email domain only) from the Emarsys tenant, so you can properly demo this and future functionality.
