Unknown Item error message is unnoticeable

The cashier is scanning so many of items then he/she scanned an item which is not yet in the system. The cashier did not notice the Unknown Item error message because it shows too quickly and did not ask the cashier to click anything to continue the transaction.

Is there any standard configuration in SAP Customer Checkout that will show a window with an error message that an Unknown Item was scanned and will wait for the Cashier to press the Ok button to continue with the transaction?

Hello Adrian,

An alternative approach:

You could activate the switch Enable sounds which you find in the Configuration -> POS System tab -> General subtab.

When the cashier scans an item successfully a single beep sound is returned.

Otherwise no beep - this should alert the cashier that the item was not added to the receipt.

there is no standard answer to your question.

With a lean plugin, I guess this should be possible.
