Hi Experts,
I have created one attribute navigationNodes of type CMSNavigationNodeList in a new component type. Via smartedit, I am able to add an instance of CMSNavigationNode but once added it is not opening up again for editing. No issue if I use backoffice.
Thanks

Hi - You cannot use SmartEdit to edit instances of these component types. However, if an instance of these component types is already defined and imported by impEx files into your SAP Commerce, you can add, move, and remove them using SmartEdit. Please check the section, Deprecated Components at https://help.sap.com/viewer/86dd1373053a4c2da8f9885cc9fbe55d/6.7.0.0/en-US/8ba63c5a78a8464ca05cb3513...

Hi - thanks for the input. But I am not using Navigation Bar component as mentioned in link you shared.
Just to explain little more: New itemtype created as BrandNavigationBarComponent which extends SimpleCMSComponent. --> attribute navigationNodes of type CMSNavigationNodeList
CMSNavigationNodeList is a list of CMSNavigationNode so if I understood correct CMSNavigationNode cannot be editable from SmartEdit and looks like so also but is it document somewhere.
Thank you.
Hi Manish - I will try to find out the information but I am busy at the moment. If you have some time, please check https://jira.hybris.com/browse/ECP-3506?jql=text%20~%20%22smartedit%22
I have also added team members, responsible for the development/maintenance of smartedit, to this thread.
