Unable to delete cmapaigns

Hi Team,

We're using Marketing on prem 2020v.

I tried to delete a discarded campaign which was not started. I did following steps -

1. Used t code CUAN_INI_SET_COLD to archive the campaign with Status Discarded checkbox checked. Message

"No campaigns available for archiving shows up".

2. Used t code CUAN_INI_DEL_COLD. message "Unable to delete campaign 1469; dataaging not set" shows up.

Why I'm not able to delete a discarded campaign? COuld you please help.

Dear Pushpak,

If you can check the Report CUAN_INI_SET_COLD , there is a Retention period with 365 days ( We cant change it ) , so your campaign may not fall under this Retention period which could be the reason why it was not set to Cold .

You can verify the same from your end.

Hi Saravanakumar,

Yes correct. Retention period is hard coded to 365. So it means i can only be able to delete after 365 days of create date?

Yes , This is standard design and decided by product management for data consistency reason.

Dear Pushpak,

Please read the KBA 2941225 - SAP Marketing: Campaign Status set to 'Stopped' for an older Campaign

You cannot delete any campaign which are not in Stopped/ Discarded Status.
