Unable to assign the Online Category to Qualifying the Categories In Promotions

Hi Experts,

I am unable to assign the Online Category under the Qualifying Categories while creating the promotion

.When i am selecting the Online Category under Qualifying the Categories while creating the promotion and After saving it .Then it showing the Staged Category under the Qualifying Categories.

Can any one tell me why it is happening and how to resolve it.

Hi ,

The new promotion engine’s inner logic isn’t aware o category/product version. It only takes the code information into consideration. Both staged and online versions have same code.

However it is advisable to work on staged version of categories due to synchronisation and possible loss of changes/data.

Which verison hybris you are using. And are you using legacy promotions or rule egine based promotions? Can you add a screen shot as well for clear understanding?

Thanks for the reply. I am working on 6.7 version and using the rule engine based promotions. Before Saving selected the online version

Only category codes will be considered for the promotion, you can ignore the catalog version.
