Unable to add the custom data source - sap marketing cloud

Hello Experts,

I am missing with the + icon to create a custom data source in segmentation and configuration app. Am i missing anything?

Hi Mayank,

Custom data sources cannot be created from this app. This is a repository which holds all the custom as well as standard data sources.

When you make as assignment of Custom field or CBO to segmentation object(Using Marketing Extensibility --> Assign to Segmentation) then the data sources are automatically adjusted.

we need a custom data source based on CBO in order to create an new segmentation object. How can we achieve this?

Making the assignement of the CBO to an existing segmentation object does not show the expected result.
