Dear experts,
to comply with the GDPR within our system landscape we have to ensure that the removal of personal data in C4C triggers the synchronous deletion of said data in SAP Marketing Cloud.
Currently, when removing data through Personal Data Removal (2020-05-14-13-23-19-personal-data-removal-sap-clou.png), the BusinessPartnerRelationship iFlow is used to transfer data to SAP Marketing Cloud (2020-05-14-13-27-33-web-service-message-monitoring.png). This message arrives at SMC (2020-05-14-13-28-48-importmonitor.png) containing the business relation between the contact that was deleted in C4C and his company together with the action code '02' (delete). Also the message only references the ID of the relationship, not of the removed contact. There is no effect in SMC though, because somehow the relation between contact and company does not get removed and still persists. The contact gets correctly removed in C4C.
To comply to GDPR the contact removed in C4C should get removed in SMC accordingly. When blocking or setting a contact as obsolete in C4C (2020-05-14-13-52-15-window.png), the BusinessPartnerSelfIntiatedOut iFlow is triggered and the flag OBSOLETE (2020-05-14-14-02-16-importmonitor.png) is set, which temporarely removes the contact in SMC. As stated by saurabhkabra2009 here 2020-05-14-14-06-14-simultaniously-delete-anonymiz.png the CUAN_BUSINESS_PARTNER_IMPORT_SRV does also include the flag "END_OF_PURPOSE", which would remove the contact permanently in SMC. This flag is what we are trying to reach and connect to the Personal Data Removal in C4C. Currently our CPI experts have not found a way to solve this, mainly because the relationship iFlow includes no reference to the contact. We tried reaching the contact's ID through OData using the relationship ID, which has not worked for us.
Has anyone had any experience with this issue? Solving this problem is of utmost importance for us.
Thanks in advance!

Hello Nils,
in order to set a C4C contact to End of Purpose in Marketing, it's enough to send us the C4C id of the contact along with the corresponding EoP-Flag. The relationship alone will not be enough.
Best regards,
Nico
