We have a trigger campaign defined. We want to use in an email content a field from an interaction. For example, "source object id". We have as a result returned for this field "source object id" for all past interactions.
What do we do wrong? How to get only "source object id" from the interaction that triggered this email?

Seems that this has been discussed long time ago and there are some work-arounds that I am going to look in to

Apparently nothing has changed since then.

Hello everyone,
please refer to the following KBA - that explains what needs to be done to retrieve the details from the source interaction only:

Attribute is made available in the email content. Attribute is, for example, "Source object id".
Trigger interaction is received, campaign is triggered, email is sent.
In the content, instead of a particular "source object id", let's say 1-2-3, in the email we get: ABC, DEF, 1-2-3. In other words, not only particular interaction "Source object id" is selected from a database, but "source object id's" from all interactions that one customer has placed.
With each next time the list of "source object id" is getting longer by including all the past interactions and the latest, though we want just one, which was actual interaction that triggered a campaign.

Hi mariss.
Just to get your question correct, you want to use the field from Interaction table to be visible in your Email content? if so then you can do by personalizing/customizing the segmentation profile and exposing that attribute in the segmentation configuration. Once done it will be visible in the profile which you assign to the email content and the field can be used there.
If this is not what you need, then can you please be more specific with your question as to what you need.

Hello,
Did you check vour target group configuration settings ?
If you apply the segmentation rules upon content determination when exporting these groups, only the interaction data fulfilling the respective filter rules is exported for the single target group member.
