Trigger article sync from QuickSelection

Hello all,

We have a customer who has constantly changing prices. Although we have set the sync schedule to each 5 minutes, there are occasions where the customer needs to sync manually in order to avoid a price difference in a specific receipt. Is there are a way to trigger the article sync from code using our plugin?

Note: We don't want to give the users permission to access the configuration to trigger the sync from there.

Hello Joerg,

doesn't the "Sync backend data" from the functions do exactly that? I just tested it using the default CASHIER role, new prices were synchronised, without access to the configuration.

However a requirement is that only scheduled synchronisations are triggered, so I had to setup an hourly synchronisation.

Hello Kai,

I had tried that and it only synchronized users, but not articles. However, after creating an hourly sync job for articles, in effect the articles did synchronize as well. Don't ask me why I didn't try that...
