Transfer Lead Application - doesn't have Media type field

Hello SAP,

I think this is a GAP, we have campaign approvals on media type, and therefore we have made that field mandatory using BADI code. In the Transfer lead application, we dont have media type field exposed, and therefore if we want the campaign to be approved for Transfer Lead type, then it is not possible, ideally all the campaign type should have media type as a field value to select. Do I need to raise a ticket for this one?

Hi Mayank,

I think creating an incident for that won't bring you the result you need for now.

You could only open an improvement request.

In the meanwhile as workaround I would say you probably have to use the campaign app with your static or dynamic target group and the action Create Lead to assign media type.

schneidert : yes, my first option was Campaign app. But since we have Transfer Leads application as well, i tested with that app and hence identified this glitch. Let me raise a SAP improvement request.

I would say yes. Until now I didn't need the media types, but it's good to ask for that feature. Maybe you could provide the link to your improvement request here.
