Transfer an offer with variant from CAR to S/4 Hana PPM

Hi,
I have a question regarding the transfer of offers from CAR (5.0) to S4 HANA PPM (2020 latest) using a vairant with discount. Is this not possible at all?
If I use a single product it's quite easy to transfer the offer to S/4 and receive a promotion with bonus buy, having a discount of 10% e.g.

But if I do the same with a variant, e.g. generic product is 606 having two variants 606001 and 606002 and only 606002 should have a discount of 10%, then it seems not possible to do this. If I just assign variant 606002 the transfer fails and if I use the generic product 606 it is wrong because only 606002 should have the discount.
PS: Both variants have inherited their price from the generic product (if this should be relevant).
