There is an issue with the SmartEdit in 6.7 version .After convert contentSlot to nonSharedSlot,cloned component is editable but cannot be saved without changing the name.

There is an issue with the SmartEdit in 6.7 version . Once the contentSlot converted to nonSharedSlot by selecting the option clone components, we can edit the cloned components but cannot save the edited components without changing the name .

During update, the component is validated as follow: a search in DB is done by typeCode & name and if there are multiple components found it will throw that error, even though the name is not marked as unique. The validator that does this is DefaultUpdateCMSItemValidator.

In order to avoid this kind of issues, you should make sure that the pair (typeCode, name) is unique or you can override the out of the box validator.
