Testing Unsubscribe Link in Marketing Emails

Hi,

Is there a way in which we can test the unsubscribe link on a marketing email in SAP Marketing Cloud without having to send the email out to ourselves?

For example, when we send a test message: the 'view in browser' and 'unsubscribe' link does not work. It's only if you actually send the email out to yourself that you're able to test that these links work. Can these be tested in the content studio or perhaps there is another way?

Dear David,

Indeed it is correct that both links will not work when using the send test functionality. My advise would be to test it in your test environment.

1) Create a test business partner with your own e-mail address.

2) Add that e-mail address to the inclusion list

3) Make a static target group only containing your business partner

4) Create campaign

So that presumably means I will still have to send the email out to the target group in order to test these links?

Indeed. From my knowledge there is no other way to test it.
