Test emails with [test] labeling in subject

Dear SAP Community,

is it possible to label test emails sent from Content Studio with "[test]" or something similar in the subject of the email?

This way the person receiving the email knows immediately that it is a test email.

Best regards

Jose

Hello Jose,

I understand your query correctly now, the scenario is a valid request.

You mean when using the functionality of "Test Send", email received are basically a test email and recipient should get a feeling that this is just a TESTING mail by some means like you explained!

Please submit your idea of improvement so that your idea could be evaluated there and mark the thread answered!

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Kunal

Hi,

As Kunal said, it is currently not possible to embed the [TEST] in subject line to discriminate between email received from TEST or PROD system.

However, if I understood you correctly then you just want to let recipient to know that email has come from TEST system. Hence you can rename the sender name in "Sender Profiles" app so that it looks something like this in TEST system.

With this setting, sender name will always carry "[TEST]" as a text.

Thanks

Saurabh

Hello Jose,

There is not such provision to automatically append TEST for emails sent from test tenant.

I recommend putting (Test) in Subject line of all the email/ templates.

Hello kunalkumar.bansal

Thanks for your answer. But I think I didn't express myself correctly.

I meant test emails being sent from the PROD Tenant.

The use case would be the following: a marketing colleague is working on a new email and he decides to send a test email to his supervisor to check the layout of the email. If the supervisor doesn't know that he will receive a test email, he might think the email comes from a real campaign. That's why it would be useful to us that test emails have something like "[Test]" in the subject to signalize immediately that it is a test email. In this case the test email is being sent from the PROD Tenant.

But I guess from your answers that this might not be possible yet

Best regards

Jose
