Template updates not visible in the individual campaign

Dear SAP Support Team,

 

We have noticed that updates to our Emarsys templates are not being reflected in the content of individual campaigns.

For example, we modified our unsubscribe link in the template; however, the campaign still displays the "old" link in the footer. Even after directly updating the campaign, the changes made to the template are not visible in the campaign.

The updates only become visible after re-inserting the content block into the campaign.

What you have described is currently the expected behaviour. According to the SAP Emarsys Help document below, there is an extra step in case the block that was modified was already inserted into the email campaign:

If you modified the default content of the block, then it is also necessary to click Reset block. This overrides the hardcoded element and reverts the block to the changes that have just been made to the template.
