Target Group - Released v Complete

Hi,

Wondering if someone may be able to help with the difference between a Target Group Status on SAP Marketing Cloud - Particularly Statuses 'Released' v 'Completed'.

Hi danielp100,

Please find below an explanation for TG status -

• Released - After preparing the complete target group, choose Release to activate the target group and make it available to everyone involved in the company. You can no longer edit a released target group. Creating a campaign for a target group that is not yet released, automatically releases the target group.
• Completed - complete a released target group when it should no longer be used in a campaign. You can no longer edit a completed target group.

Hi Kunal,

Thank you for that! Definitely helps! One quick additional question - once a Target Group has been listed as 'Completed' would this remove the need for excluding said Target Group in a Segmentation Model being created?

Hi Daniel,

That's right. The system automatically takes care of it. It won't be regenerated.
