Table/Field for material history in Retail

I am looking to find yhe table/field in article master wwhichstire the history of the material.

Hi Mayank,

I am not aware of any standard field in MARA which would have nothing else purpose than to store free text (reserved for custom purposes).

But you can add your custom fields even to MARA, if this is the requirement ultimately.

Do you mean the table, where the changes are stored? Those are the CDHDR and CDPOS tables.
In SAP Retail there are no specific history tables for article master.

Actually business wants to add some data on frquent basis like validity to & from or some other data which they can enter in the material master and forther that data can be exported from the table in reports.will the basic data text would be the right and only option for this?

I think for extracting any changes made on master master is the only and easiest way to use those tables I've mentioned. It contains old and new values, date of change, Tcode, User, etc.
