SystemException when starting Hybris server

Hello,

I am getting the following exception when I try to start the Hybris server:

SEVERE: Exception sending context initialized event to listener instance of class [com.hybris.backoffice.BackofficeApplicationContextInitializer]
de.hybris.platform.servicelayer.exceptions.SystemException: Failed to create system shutdown token

Could anyone help me with this?

Can you post a longer stacktrace? There might be more errors we are not seeing, especially before and after those lines.

After this the exact exception repeats for many different classes (HybrisContextLoaderListener, BackofficeApplicationContextInitializer, CockpitHttpSessionListener, ...).

Please have a look in your data folder if the "shutdown.token" file is still there. It could be that Hybris is not able to delete the file and recreate it.

You should also check if there are still "pid" files lingering for hybris which could also prevent the start.
