Survey Authorization

Dear Experts,

Happy New Year 2019..!

As per our Business Scenario, we are having 2 types of Surveys.

• 1.Global survey - same for all regions.

• 2.Surveys specific to the regions.

The requirement is the Global survey should be visible to all the regions irrespective of restriction in Business Role (survey restricted based on sales org of Employee). But the Org specific Surveys should only be visible to the users from that sales ORG.

The issue we are facing is, now the Global Surveys are not assigned with any sales Org. So, as per restrictions in Business Roles users are not able to see the Global Surveys. Please advice how to make the surveys visible to all users if the survey is not assigned with sales org (Global).

We thought of copying the Global Survey and create the duplicates for all the sales Orgs. This may lead to N number of surveys in system and the major problem we are seeing is, in future if a small change needs to be done for this survey, then the manual change has to be done in all similar surveys of all sales Orgs.

And we know that SAP is providing a BADI to extend the authorization for the Sales Documents like Opportunities & Sales Orders. Please let us know if we have similar setup or options for Surveys as well.

As of my understanding your requirement seems not possible with the standard design , nevertheless I feel a need for incident to SAP support team to get this confirmed
