Structure of OData Service API_MKT_CONTACTS - Wrong description?

Hello everybody,

I was looking for some information about OData Structures and I am wondering if the description of the property "IsConfirmationRequired" under the topic "Marketing Permission Property Descriptions" is mixed-up?

It says the following:

"This is a boolean parameter. If the parameter is set to TRUE, the permission is stored using the double opt-in or opt-out process.

If the property is not specified in the payload or it is set to FALSE the permission is directly stored."

But in my case the property is not specified, but the permission is stored using the double opt-in or opt-out process?

It depends on your payload and setting for some Marketing Area may've set DOI as default.

Please refer to Double Opt-In or Opt-Out Process business document.

If the property is not specified, then it is considered as false by default .Hence Permission will be stored directly .

Dear Daniel,

If still your permission are stored using double opt in , You can also check if there are any custom logics Implemented with respect to permissions , if no clue , as Kunal mentioned , you can chat with an expert from SAP to identify the root cause .
