Store e-mail content for each recepient of the e-mail

Dear Experts,

There is a requirement to be able to store and view the content of the e-mail which is sent out in campaigns per customer. Please can you let me know if you have encountered similar requirements in the past and how was the solution achieved.

How are you sending mail? Using any custom function module or what?
