Stop a campaign based on interaction,

Hi All,

I need some help on a campaign.

I have a campaign that a contact needs to be in multiple times, at the same time. I also need to be able to stop the campaign for one instance without stoping the others. Basically think of it as a company birthday card where we want people on the team to sign it, so there may be multiple birthdays that also need reminding at the same time. e.g.

Ann has a team of 200 people. Bill, Jane, and Tina all have birthdays the week of November 1. An email is sent for each birthday asking to sign a virtual card with two follow up if they have not signed the card.

Ryan receives the three original emails and fills out Tina's but not Jane's or Bill's card. I now need to stop the campaign that is being sent to Ryan for Tina, but not for Jane or Bill.

I tried creating an interaction, but it ended up stopping all instances. I have also tried using one off emails it is unsustainable. Has anyone else run into a similar situation? Any advice would be welcome.

Hi ryan.butters. As Kunal mentioned, it's not an easy scenario, but if I understood that correctly, I think you can achieve that with Live Target Groups. In the official documentation you have a very good explanation about its usage. You can check "How Does Filtering Works?" here: https://help.sap.com/viewer/b88f770e4b7c4ecead5477e7a6c7b8f7/2008.500/en-US/283a6d0182f94ed0a414b27e...

As you control Live Target Groups with segmentation models, the only thing you need to do to "stop" the part of the campaign is adding a very restrictive filter that will filter out all the people in the live target group (an example could be Email = 'a@a.com' or something else).

Let me know if that helped and please upvote if it was useful 🙂

Hello ryan.butters,

As per my knowledge, it's not possible to achieve the complex scenario you're trying.

Rather, you need to create separate campaigns.

I hope this is helpful. Thank you.
