Splitting issue in CAT2 Data entry area

when claiming new hours in the week, system splits rows day wise. I have done enhancement to modify WBS element, to a different value other than what user entered. To achieve this, i used Enh. at Include LCATSF4B - `FORM LAST_STEPS_AND_SAVE. Not sure what is causing the splits. I believe this is not a first time, that some data is changed at Save. Strange thing is, this split is happening in Newer version of SAP GUI. But not in older versions.

I welcome Any suggestions or pointers what could have gone wrong.
