Speed of publishing Promotions in Hybris 6.2 promotions engine is slow sometimes, any possible reasons for the performance issue?

Hi Experts,

One of our clients have 16 nodes in the production hybris storefront. While publishing promotions during peak hours, it has been noticed that the speed of publishing of the promotions itself is slow, sometimes taking up to 5 minutes even for changing the end date of the promotion(mostly bundles).

Also, the end users have reported slowness in the application during the time the promotions were published, which were affecting some checkout flows.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue and has a solution?

Error log has "Unable to find query ...."

Yes similar issue in 6.2. I'm not sure but i think validation runs on all promotions when publishing one. I'm not 100% though. Make sure you archive and remove all expired promotions to see if that speeds up future publishing.
